Well done! My first wife is a Thai chef, so can identify with bloopers. I was surprised to find this site (through a facebook friend) and that it is in English. I love to cook (and of course Eat) Thai food. As for coconuts it is easier to put it in a plastic bag (such as the dreaded shopping bag that it probably came in), and strike it with the back, near the handle, of a good heavy cleaver. Otherwise, drain out the milk through holes punched in the eyes, then "bake" the nut in a hot oven to crack the shell (perhaps better with a quantity to do). Love Aunchelee, she is very real.
